The Seahawks are still trying to find a trade partner for running back Ryan Brookes, according to the team’s official Twitter account.
But they are also hoping to add another dynamic player to the offensive line.
The team announced Thursday that it has signed free agent running back Marcus Roberson.
The Seahawks acquired Broyles from the Cleveland Browns in a trade last season.
Broyles has made three starts for Seattle this season, and he had one start for the Texans.
The 26-year-old rookie was expected to compete for a starting job in the middle of the season.
